in an events section, with datetime field which is overriding create and expire dates, how can I order the records to display first those with nearer create date?
In mean, I want nearer events to be displaied first and so on...
I set ordering in section parameters to "oldest first" but event are still ordered like "latest first"

I deleted joomla cache, logged out and in again, just to be sure.
am I supposed to something else to achieve this?
