gallery field: how are images being ordered - Cobalt 8

when uploading several images at the same time, I thought they should be ordered by file name, but this is not happening

so, how are images being ordered?

I think they ordered as they stored. Also there should be ordering parameter I think.

I don't see any "ordering" parameter in this field settings...
