What is missing at the moment in Cobalt 7 is a Blog Template (list template) as it was in Resources 1.5.X to give an alternative to the Joomla setup.
With this template we could replicate the behavior of standard Joomla articles with a single HTML field and avoid using the backend for content handling.
I hope something like this will find its way into the standard installation of Cobalt when it gets stable.
