I was wondering whether it would be possible to do this.
In my set up I have a "parent article" with several "child articles". Parent and Child articles are in different sections.
There are some fields for eg: Name, Date of Birth, ID which are common to both Parent and Child
so my question is
Is there any way you can prefill the "child article" submission form with some of the field data from the "parent article" when you are using the "ADD NEW" button to add a new "child article".
Hope I have explained it clearly.
I suppose instead of parent-child relationship field I could use field type "related records" but it would be very handy if on creation of the child article some of the fields are prefilled.
