Scrolling issue on Article detail page

illusioninfotech on the front end if i click on any tab and try to scroll down, the page seems to be stopped for a moment and scroll back above a little. it happening on mobile as well

Tested with latest SAFARI webkit browser. I can't see any negative effect. Tabs work fine here.

Which browsers did you use?

I do not see what you describe in Chrom either.

Although the problem might be the Tabs design in generald. this is not what we did we just used TBS tabs. The tab reffer to tab content through id="#tab-2". So perhaps # in URL sometimes recognised as page navigation.

Anyway this is only my suspicion.

Hi, I tested it on Chrome. i monitored it closely and found that when I click on 1st tab '#tab-0' and then on the next '#tab-1' and scroll immediately, it takes moment in browser url to take from #tab-0 to #tab-1. in that moment page stops to render it thus create scrolling issue. so may be its because of # in URL as you mentioned.

but there is another issue in the Tabs during Submission.

During submission, user has to submit by Tabs formed due to Field groups. so on the submission form there is the 1 st Tab (Main). if I fill all the details in 1s Tab and then Click on second Tab, it opens the second Tab, but a process happens, page refreshes and again it Opens a blank fields in 1st Tab (Main).

it can frustrating for a user to re submit the data.

Hello, just had a quick look as demo user. It happens on the FIRST click on ANY tab. It is not bound to a specific tab.
I have seen you use the Gavick framework and their Restaurant template. Bootstrap version seems to be JUI BS2 from core. Many other JS scripts are loaded, too.

I would try the following to hunt down the error:

• try submission with Protostar template (clean caches etc.), to make sure it is no general issue. maybe specific to your template...
• try SEF URLs off.

Any differences?

Hi, I tried beez3 and Tabs are working fine. So, it could be a gavick issue. can you track down or solve it. its in submission form, so it affects users.

It looks (youtube) like it reloads page at all. I mean ti submits a form when you click on tabs. This is mostly JS somewhere. I do not think I'll be able to trak in what file JS adds this weird behaviour.
