Hello when I search something via standart joomla search module on search result page I get this on a palce of search phrase code like this

<span class="highlight">lee</span>

if I search for word >> lee.

Hello, there seem to be an older related Joomla issue on Github. https://github.com/joomla/joomla-cms/issues/16979
Seemed to result in some changes in core com_search / view.html.php

So, most likely you would have to check and fix the results page in your template overrides...
YourJoomla/templates/YourTemplate/html/com_search/search/default_results.php

Depends on your template, but the mentioned issue has some new comments from other template/framework devs. For instance JoomShaper/HELIX3 and JoomlaShack/WRIGHT. They fix it with an override! Maybe this is of help for your template, too.
