Built in comments can not be published

I see, but everything is ok on my site as I see, and when I try to publish it says that it is published but, really it is not.

This problems looks simillar as it was categories errors which was then solved with update.

The state icon changes or not?

Only text comes out that it was published, but state icon does not change.

I cannot reproduce it. All publish/inpublish ways works fine.

in fact comments adaptater work fine it is happen with cobalt built in comments

This is correct. The fact there commecnts are not able to post when topic is closed is a hack on Mintjoomla site and not a part of forum pack.

My problem is not related to closed record.

Look here http://tk.kinokorea.ge/news/item/142.html I have gave all permissions to public user. I added comment via public user which you can see in bottom of record. I disabled requirement for approval so it must be published automaticaly but it is not. Then after adding comment I go to same page via admin user and try to publish it. I get notification on top of page:

but comment is still unpublished as you see. I am not able even to publish it from backend comments page. There also I get that item was published but it is not published. look at image below.

I have found a reason. This some new logic for nested tables. I have fixed it in next update but right now you have to run this query over your DB.

UPDATE `#__js_res_comments` SET published = 1 WHERE id = 1

Change #__ to your table prefix.

Anyway main idea is to change published to 1 for ROOT record in comments table with ID equal 1.
