Featured fucntion does not work while submitting record - Cobalt 8

When I add new record i choose for field "Is featured" status Yes it does not add record to featured. It only adds record to featured from here

I found that you must set expire date for featured function to make it active so I created another section for featured records, for this project it is better solution for me, then use expire date.

It will be good if user will be able to set record as featured for an unlimited time without setting date, for example after datepicker to add checkbox and if it is checked record will be featured always, if not checked , featured only to date used or not featured.

To make record featured is core field and intended to be used only by admin. For user there is make featured control menu element.

It does not make a lot of sense ability to make article featured forever. Also to allow any user to set this parameter. Because everyone will set it.

I can suggest you to add feature expire filed on the form but hide it. And insert date there for example 2-3 days ahead.
