Does Emerald support Community Builder?
Hello wista, can you describe "support" in more details, please?
Basically, Emerald does work with any extension. It is quite universal, when it comes to restriction. The subscription part is not bound to any specific registration/extension. In the beginning user registration was a separate task, so registration and subscription were 2 processes.
Over time the "workflow options" have been extended. Emerald has the following options:
SDR - Subscription During Registration, this workflow can offer a plan selector during Registration. It is available in J! core and EasySocial. You can also assign a plan to every new registration, or to existing users.
Currently there is no such plan selection in JomSocial and CB registration, yet! Depends on user requests. I am in ;)
However, you can use Emerald with CB in creative ways: You might restrict certain areas by URL, and even use CB field output templates with the Emerald content plugin syntax etc. Sure, this is quite different to the special integration of CBSUBS. Which has different features and allows to select plans for restriction via select fields. Nonetheless, Emerald and field output templates sounds quite versatile to me.
RDS - Registration During Subscripton). As far as I know, Emerald can also create J! user accounts directly! This is a special plan option.
