Regarding the access permission of a record

Hi,

I am new to Cobalt.

One of the attributes in the Cobalt records is 'Access'

Records

So how can I change the Access of each record?

Hello walkerline, one important detail about Cobalt is: Almost everything is frontend powered. Which includes most of the typical admin/author tasks. i.e. submit, edit, delete etc.

cob_frontend_edit_tasks

Admins can see a Special fields tab on edit. Which includes publishing options like Access and Author etc.:

cob_frontend_edit_specialfields

However you can setup the basic configuration in the backend first. There are different locations for access related parameters:

  • Types -> Submission parameters tab
    (controls default access for NEW submissions and their full view)

cob_types_submission_params

  • Section -> Properties
    (controls visibility on lists)

cob_section_who_can_see
