How to update Cobalt? - Cobalt 8

I've been searching information how to update Cobalt and I didn't find anything. How is the process? just installing the new version?

Hello

Yes you just download the latest build and install it using joomla installer, but it's good to do a website backup before you do it just in case something goes wrong.

I was wondering the same thing. But If I haven't updated since a year, can I use the version that's now ready for download (8.662)? There have been a lot of updates in the meantime, I see, but will that be a problem?

It might case some problems if you have custom templates.
