Problem publishing new categories

Hi, OK, I have to confirm that Cobalt has a serious issue with joomla 3.7, I have installed fresh joomla 3.7.0 with latest cobalt and I am unable to publish any newly created category.

Same error as above. COM_COBALT_N_ITEMS_FAILED_PUBLISHING Need to get this fixed, any Ideads.

By the way my php version is php 7.0.18

I can not create categories and even adding new fields to TYPEs does not work under J 3.7 with PHP 7.0.18

Also the admin toolbar has some issues with the icons

I have same problem with categories, but not with fields I was able to create 8 types and 75 fields. Cobalt version 8.735 Joomla 3.7.0 PHP 7.0.18

Correction ... after update to 8.735, fields are working, but category problem still exists. Also the admin toolbar still has the filter icon over other icons ...

The toolbar and icon display looks like the old ISIS / Bootstrap 2 styles. It should definitely have a "flat" appearance.
Probably a Cache issue? Try to clear everything related to caching (Joomla, Browser etc.)
Also a re-install of Joomla 3.7 update, or even an upload of the full-package might help.

I dont think so ... all other components are ok, except Cobalt8.

Sorry, I can't recreate the issue. Everything fine with the media/jui/css/bootstrap.min.css on my side.
Actually the entire #toolbar icons and button appearance is overridden in new ISIS template CSS.

Hi, Lets not get lost here. The problem is with publishing new created categories which is a critical issue, we need a fix for this, as this is making cobalt 100% unusable. Thank you.

A manual emergency fix would be using a tool like phpMyAdmin to access the table #_js_res_categories and change in the column "published" the value to "1"

If you do so, then for any reason you edit the category from inside joomla, then the category is unpublished again. Check it your self. Thank you.

Correct. Every edit requires a manual correction through phpmyadmin.

Ok. All problems are solved.

1. Categories. New Joomla JTable class for Nested Sets has new algorithm to set category state based on parents. That does not work in cobalt where parent is section and not enother category.

2. Buttons only fail if Campatibility mode is on. But I have fixed it.

Uploading new Cobalt right now.

Hi Sergy. Ok, here is a nother 1 for you, Gallery field is not saving images, the progress bar works and it informs you that every thing is uploaded, then you save, then you check the record, there is no thumd in list view and no images in full article view.

Great, I was abkle to publish categories. but there still exists problem.

If you check all categories and click publish button on top, it does not work. Only works if you click on publish icon at each category.
