Urgent help please- recover deleted category - Cobalt 8

Hi, I accidently deleted 2 categories in a section. is it possible to recover it? the items assigned to them are still assigned to another category as well. I have a backup of the files but I don't have a backup of the database prior to this. i am still on the screen where i deleted.

help please

Does your hosting make a daily backups ? If yes so you should be able to restore from yesterdays backup.

My hosting provides keeps daily backups for a month so this helped me to restore when my site was broken.

You cannot restore categories afte delete by means of Cobalt. You will have to create those categories again and attach records to those categories.

If your records was only in single category and have no category assigned, set Section home show all records in section parameters and you will see all records in section home.
