I was testing the Hikashop action and I noticed that the action is not being triggered when changing the status to "confirmed" forn an existing Hikashop order, it just works if the order is confirmed from teh beginning (successfull online payment from frontend or order creation in confirmed status from backend)
Could you verify this on your side and in case see if it's possible to correct this behaviour?
When customers pay offline we always have to change their order status manually form backend, and if the hikashop action is not being triggered we would also have to create a new Emerald subscription manually.
