This could be useful in those cases were you have 2 or more profiles in easysocial.
eg:
merchant and buyers
and you want merchants to be granted a free subscription when they register, so they can also be
automaticaly moved to a certain acymailing list and you can follow up automatically with them,
sending them mail that are not interesting for "buyers" users
