Cobalt 9 release - Cobalt 8

I'm gonna start a new project and I remember reading somewhere that Cobalt 9 was going to be released around december. Is that still the case?

Should I wait for it's realease or use cobalt 8 instead?

Even if Cobalt9 is released tomorrow, it will be beta.

If you only plan to release the website within 4 month after C9 first release. I would use it, it will be a better version although mighty be a little bit buggy, but you can report the bugs and help getting a better service.

If you plan to launch within 1-2 month, go for C8.

Later you will have a bit more work upgrading to C9 perhaps, but it will stable.

No. It will not be released this year.

I agree with stblink. Start with Cobalt 8. Do not wait.
