I can use either radius search or radar search.

Radius search will give me the name of the place and even marker icon URL, but return only 20 items in a result. Radar search will give me 200 items but no name and no icon. And no additional data to create custom icons.

yes, I do support it. I can contribute a max of $35 for it. But I would like the format to have checkbox where end user will select and accordingly the places will be shown on the basis of radius. Here is an example I would like to display:

Also apart from checkboxes, it would be good if there will be google based ajax search text box on the map for search.

also Sergey, by having this feature your product cobalt will stand out from the rest of the crowds. No CCK has ever implemented this functionality. It will also become the only cck which has this full functionality. these days you will see most of sites built to provide service has this features availabe by default.

I understand. There are a lot of features like this in the list. Unfortunately it is not a priority. The priority now is to complete long waited Cobalt 9.
